ANNULMENT INFORMATION NIGHT: On Monday, October 13 concerning the Annulment Process at 7:00 p.m. in the Parish Center The “Who, What, When, Where, & Why” questions will be answered. INFORMATION NIGHT: Tuesday, October 14, Fr. Frank Coady, Sister Barbara Ellen & Bishop Paul Coakley will be at Seven Dolors Parish to detail the changes to the Diocese of Salina’s School of Pastoral Leadership. The changes to the program will align it with the guidelines from “Co-Workers in the Vineyard of the Lord” approved by the U.S. Bishops and will help better prepare people for lay ecclesial ministry. This information night will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Parish Center It will help to explain the changes to the pastors about Parish Life Coordinators, Pastoral Associates, and Directors of Religious Education. Bishop Coakley sees the need in the future for more intense lay involvement and wants our diocese to be prepared. For info call Rosie at 565-5000.
PARISH MISSION: St. Thomas More invites you to a Parish Mission, October 19-22. Brian Casey, of Good News Ministries of Seattle, will present "Our Walk in His Footsteps." Be prepared to discover how truly exciting it is to live the radical gospel message of Christ and to experience more of the peace and joy of our Lord Jesus. The mission begins Sun. Oct. 19, at 7PM and continues each evening from 7- 8:30PM through Wed., Oct. 22. The Marian Mantle Group This group is dedicated to Prayer for the return of our loved ones to the practice of the Catholic Faith. Do you see a need to pray for our relatives who are out of the Catholic Church? Parents, grandparents, sisters, brothers, other relatives, or friends. Come join us and pray the Rosary & other Prayers in unison for them to come home. Meetings will be Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. at the Parish Center.
